Suffolk shooter
Harsh Cranfield, Harsh Battlemouse, There are a number of us on here who are local(ish) to you and like everyone else who asks for land/permission to shoot over the same thing is said. Come along to the regular meets at claygrounds etc that we all have across the country and give people the opportunity to meet you and suss you out. I am the secretary for a game syndicate and may very well be able to help with the beating aspect, but to be honest, I already have offers from at least four other guys on here, three of which I shoot regularly with elsewhere and one I have met on a couple of occassions again through meets arranged on here. I wouldn't want just anybody walking around my permission, beating or shooting and I guarantee the others on here feel the same way. Come along to one of the meets, introduce yourself and see how it goes. The other thing you can do is to get out and about and speak to the local farmers/landowners, but I warn you now, you will struggle because most land is sewn up tighter than a Nun's chuff with at least four or five other people trying the same tactic on each farm. Best of Luck and hope to see you soon at one of the meets. SS
MC
You can come with me on tuesday evenings clay shooting if you like, although there is only a couple left. Tonight being one of them. I beat on a small shoot on mersea where you will be welcome as well, no payment mind you just a beer and some grub in the pub at lunchtime. Hope that helps, Martin
