dead-eye
None of these foxes were shot by me i was just on the lamp the first two were shot by my uncle one at about 30yds and the other at about 40 yds. The one in the second pic was shot by my friend whos just got his shotgun licence this was his first blood with his new gun the fox cub was shot at about 40yds. All foxes shot with shotgun. Dont think we would of got the third one without the red filter.
JohnGalway
Well done! Nice to get them with the shotgun. I must try an amber filter, tried red once upon a time but never could get on with it.
tulkyuk
Well done - as said good to get em with the shottie - John try a green filter, they work really well and you can see nearly as far as white light.

tulkyuk
Green filters seem to work well for me - they tend not to show rabbits eyes too well, but are supurb on foxes. your can see brilliantly trough the scope with these on. Amber filters work better when used on stubble fields for some reason - shows up your quarry better. Red filters work well in all conditions and show up Rabbits eyes better than enything else. The only 1 i havn't tried yet is the blue one, anybody else got an opinion on these?? This is just my own personal opinion - Others may differ on this, but it seems too work well for me and a t a tenner a pop, filters for the light force arn't that expensive. Try em out and see how you get on.
