Paul in North Lincs.
was out with my pups this morning.....my 10 month old ESS pup Harvey was working some dense brambles...I couldn't see him at all. Suddenly I heard a squeal..and nothing................... I recalled the pup with 2 blows of me whistle......and out he comes with a full grown rabbit in his mouth, and retieves it proudly to hand........................chuffed as punch I was...... Ironic really as my lurcher pup has started catching.......and I'm having real problems with her clearing off and eating them whole!!! (something that our very dog guru NTTF is trying to sort for me as we speak)

Paul in North Lincs.
no scott.....................he retrieived it about 50 yards .....live and unscathed....it was shownig the first signs of mixxy though. All in all, Im really pleased on how he's coming on....he quarters well works cover and flushes well, recall spot, on started jumping 2 weeks ago...and we are upto 3.5 feet clear on command......walk to heel off the lead.....and retieves well.......going do a bit more work with him over a gun, but hes robust.....and not worried about gunshot....................... Paul in North Lincs.
they squeal with sheer panic..........................sometimes even when they are being chased....when I skinned it there were no marks on it......contrary to the lurcher pup that would have smashed it to bits...... but we are working on that..(thanks to NNTF)
