Hammergun Posted April 11, 2004 Report Share Posted April 11, 2004 You need a Firearms Certificate for all self-contained gas cartridge type air weapons, and for any air weapons over 12lbf. Aled_cky Posted April 11, 2004 Report Share Posted April 11, 2004 i heard something a few months back. cant remember if it was on the News or in Air Gunner or Farmers Weekly but i remember them saying that the government were trying to enforce a License on Air Rifle's and you had to have a reason to have it. completely crazy in my view.. as i know people from my local village that shoot once a month at neighbouring farms and mine. reloder Posted April 30, 2004 Report Share Posted April 30, 2004 Ive heared about this ****ty law if we have to get a licence it will make shooting even more of a drag. My dad remembers when he was young him,his dad after going shooting could just walk though any town even with out the gun in a case.
