Fisherman Mike
Ive seen many of the biggest Live acts over the years including the Stones, The Who, Queen, U2, Oasis, Genesis, Bowie, Fleetwood Mac etc etc etc.....( I hate to admit it but even Michael Jackson when he was black!) But have never been so emotionally moved by a performance than I was when I went to Hyde Park to see the great man. I didnt want to go but I was dragged along by my wife and her parents and didnt even like Classical music but there wasnt a dry eye anywhere in 150,000 people when he hit the last bars of Nessun Dorma.....absolutely incredible Ive never witnessed a performance like it RIP Big Man. Wookie
Music in general is all the poorer for his passing. His version of The Pearl Fishers' Duet still makes my hair stand on end. RIP indeed.
