Suspended sentence for shooting someone with an air rifle, should have gone to prison in my opinion. They really should have the same level of attention as someone who has been done for shotgun or rifle offences. I thought it was a minimum 5 year stretch if you got convicted these days? LEFTY478 Posted September 6, 2007 Report Share Posted September 6, 2007 The 5 year min is for illegal possession of a firearm, contary to FA Act 1968/1997, his possession was probably legal and it was only the use to which is was put that was criminal.
