lewis
Hi guys, i am a bit of a rookie with the rifle(bullet guns) situation i have airrifles but i need help with naming a good rifle that can kill a rabbit at about 50-100 yards, pick off the odd fox and isnt too bad on the pocket my dad will apply for the licence before we acually buy the gun, but i have been recomended something like a 22 , we have plenty of land and the airguns arnt dealing with the rabbit population so we need to upgrade. i have a few questions heres some, thanks if you could answer them 1) if my dad has a licence can i shoot it when he is present? ( i am 15) 2)how much would any of theses rifles cost? If you could send me a link in the right direction i would be much gratefull
hutchie the white hunter
not to sure about the licence thing but you could pick up a .22 rimfire for around £300 brand new with a good scope

gdunc
I now very little about rifles but was out with a chum last night and his .17 HMR was taking out rabbits at 150+ yds with clean kills with the furthest being about 200 yds. He uses is for foxes too. A very handy tool it seems.
