Where are all the pigeons?

Shot my first ones on Peas yesterday afternoon , a horrible sort of day with drizzle and dark sky's and very little Pigeon movement , the farm stuck a gas gun on the Peas but left it off as I told them I would go even though they had only been on the field for a few days , shot one within the first few minutes then on average one every half hour , my eye was in but the pigeons didn't play ball and only shot five out of six shells before the rain set in ,  it's no longer my idea of enjoyment getting wet for very little sport , weather should improve from the middle of next week , hopefully .
