Used - Excellent Condition Gordon, Scottish Borders
Side by Side, 1/4 Choke, 1/2 Choke, 28" barrels

Description

Left. Proofed at 17.3mm/0.673. Now 0.674-
Right. Proofed at 17.1/0.681. Now 0.681
Wall thickness 23 thou min.
Chokes actually 3/8 and 5/8.
Some traces of original colour hardening to the action.
The stock is a lovely piece of walnut with a poorly matched extension. The original stock is approx 13 1/2" and it is a little over 15" with the extension.
Weight 5lb 10oz.

Toby has the details. I met him recently and gave him a very poorly 16g SLE which he is restoring. There have been a few updates on social media of him stripping it down which are fascinating. GBS
