Guinness
Is it possible to bleed a Webley FX2000? There is 200bar in there atm and I need to get it down to 180bar. AFAIK 180bar is the correct pressure?
Fisherman Mike
I think it is but not sure how. Best speak direct to Webley & Scott 0121 453 1864 ask for their technical department. I have spoken to them several times in the past and they have always been extremely helpful. Be very careful if you decide to have a tinker yourself mate... BANG Fm. BOLTA
Hi, Many pcp rifles (if not all) can be "dry fired" and it won´t hurt them. Or you can load pellets and fire them so you get the pressure down. As long you don´t get over the max. fill level there should not be any problems. Why do you want to go down to 180 bars ? Is this the sweet spot you are looking for or is this the max. fill level ? Cheers - Bolta
Guinness
We havn't been able to zero it at 200bar which is the max level, the guy in the local gun shop told us to only put 180bar in. I tried this morning but it's still all over the place, none of the shots are consistant. What is going on?
BOLTA
Hi, First of all. You could try some heavy weight roundhead pellets and see how they perform in your airgun - you might use too light pellets for your airgun´s power ! Second. If you use a silencer or muzzle break make sure they are fitted tight. You could also have a loose scope mount. Cleaning your barrel would also be a good thing to do. Try these things first and see what happens. Cheers - Bolta
Fisherman Mike
Is the barrel loose and properly aligned..? Soumds like a similar problem I had with my 2 shot raider... The barrel had turned when I screwed the silencer on and as a result was not properly aligned with the air transfer port... Shots were all over the place.. A quick call to Webley and it was sorted
