DaveK
452 varmint is superb and a tack driver. Depending what you want it for is brilliant off a bipod but as said, for carrying about in the field is very heavy after a while (then you have to lift it to your shoulder. I'm not exactly lightweight and it was heavy for me). The american is lighter. I had one in .223 and it was superb. Watch out for the AMERICAN description as it refers to the stock and not the rifle. Some have heavy barrels. Look for the American Classic.
humperdingle
CZ452 Silhouette (All black) Claimed 6 bunnies on it's first outing. Quiet as a mouse's **** with subsonics and a moderator, and super-accurate. Definitely a good choice the CZ's.

dodeer
I've got a CZ 452 synthetic stainless in .22 and it is a very good work gun , not cleaned in years and never misses a beat. Where are you getting it from? Sportsman up at Wardon Hill and Greenfields, Salisbury are the cheapest around.

codling99
cheers for the replies chaps codling, what ammo do you put through yours? i use cci subsonics now. did try winchesters x ,but they stick nearly every shot(case wont eject). never had one problem with cci, aint tried many others to be honest cos the local gun shop near me dont sell many types, and because cci were ok i stuck to them . tuck1
I think you just need to try a box of each ammo. I use winnie super X, no problems. I know others who detest them in their guns - mines a Varmint. I had the long barrel one, which has now been chopped to 14inch and is loads better. You may well want a Brookes trigger kit too. Whatever you choose, you will not go wrong. Good luck!
