Yes it can.

Undo the 2 screws holding on the butt pad.  Once that and any spacers are removed there are 2 allen screws near the top.

Undo those and it comes off. there will be 2 round internal threaded cylinder things that will now be loose, so carefull not to lose them.

This pic are the two parts. the butt bit on the bottom.. All a little bit lighter.

Thanks Wyn. I want to remove the 'back end' so that my mate can have it and see if he can find a way of attaching a rear bag rider. I don't have the slots in mine to fit one.

I'm sure there is plenty of metal in that area to drill and tap fixings etc.

That's what I was thinking. Do you think that the whole stock can be removed from where it attaches to the main chassis? It looks like there's one or two screws going through where it joins on.

The chassis is one piece from the front all the way back to the blue line. The seperate butt stcock is from the blue line back. It's held on with two bolts roughly where the yellow arrows are.

The bottom metal circled in red is also a seperate part and unbolts.

Every thing needs imperial allen keys.

There isn't any metal under a lot of the rear side panels .  It's just hollow plastic, only metal from the blue line back.

I made a mistake with the blue line...................It should be straight, from the top down .............there is more metal at the base of the butt stock.

Thanks again, Wyn. I've just removed the 'plastic' side panels and you are correct, the chassis is one piece. I'm planning on either fitting a Picatinny rail or slind stud to the bottom so that I can attach a monopod that attaches to either one of them.
