manthing
Hi peeps. When I bought my bennelli sa it came with a free spare parts gun. Guns all there but the stock has been shortened, easily fixed with an adjustable buttplate, and for some reason there are 3 slots in the barrel that look like they've been cut with a grinder. Would it be possible for a gunsmith to drop a new barrel into the top part of the action and use all the bits from the old barrel on the new one? And if it is would anyone know a rough price. It's this or keep all the bits as spare bits and weigh the action in at the police station. TIA
Weihrauch17
What are all the bits from the old barrel?? You don't need a Gunsmith to swap out a SA Benelli barrel, you take it off every time you clean it??
Gunman
Anything's possible but without seeing it ,its hard to even guess as to the complexity or the cost . I suggest you need to contact some one who specialises in barrel work as it may well be outside the scope of many gunsmiths . Either that just buy a new barrel complete . manthing
Hi and thanks for the replies. Have spoken to a local gunsmith and he's asked around and even the importer can't help, none anywhere.
