joeshaw08
Evening, i was just wondering if you can attatch a gun cabinet to a solid wall from the side of the cabinet instead of the back of it (where you are supposed to). This will involve drilling in new holes in the side for the bolts. Will this be ok with the police? Cheers in advance!
pin
I'd have thought as long as it was secure and flush (so you can't jemmy it or get anything behind it) then you'd be fine. Only one way to be sure, ask your FEO
njc110381
I can't see it being a problem, although I'd blank off the holes in the back with cap head bolts so the holes can't be used as an anchor point to aid forced removal. garyb
I know someone who did this and was passed as ok... As Pin said, make sure it can't be forced off and all is well !
auto culto
providing it doesn't fall of the wall when its checked you can use no-nails
