Torch & Clay bag suggestions

Looking to get one of those clay bag, the rectangular sort that hold 100 carts boxed, also they have a 2 or so side pockets. The ones i've seen don't seem to have a closable top, just flaps. I've seen closable top ones which i would prefer. So where did you get yours from and how much did you pay?

Also i'm after a torch for dog walking and out on the marshes etc. Must be weather proof (water proof i suppose!). Bit confused by all the types and not really sure what's so great about Zenon or whatever it's called versus LED. Are the old fashion bulb types better? Again, what do you knowledgeable types have that you can recommend me? I don't want to pay silly money, it's a torch ***! :good:

Dint know what your budget is for a torch but look at the Cluson stuff, I have:

It is a great torch with fantatsic beam and last for ages on a charge, you can also get filters for it if you want.

Their cheaper classic range:

Is also very good, nice light torch that is tough, we use them for years on the farm and survive deing chucked in a tractor cab etc.

If your after something small / pocket sized, I bought one of these from Tesco Seems very powerful for the size - tons better than the maglights I've sworn by for years.

For something a bit chunkier you'll get a halogen type rechargable unit from your local market for a tenner - may not be the most robust but hey it's a tenner!!

That's the sort of thing but i don't want to spend anymore than £20. You've got me on the right track though, cheers. <_<

 I have one of these, you can put all you bumf in the top and get 250 12g carts in the bottom:

great bag, paid £20 for mine.

Too big! I just want the standard 100 cart size bag with a couple of side pockets, it's just that i can't seem to find the ones i see people using with closable tops/lid. Cheers tho.

I got mine from a surplus store. It holds 200 shells has a pocket inside for chokes and two small outer pockets for ciggies and bits.

Shoulder strap only.

With single popper and velcro lid.

Green waterproof canvas.

I think it could be a gas mask bag because it has "Haversack respirator irr" with the numbers NSN.8465-99-720-4971.

Its really good and robust and cost me £8.

Good for rough shooting to as it is in army green.

I will add a pic if you want but I have to get the kids to work the camera for me and get the wife to put the pic on ere.

I am a PC plonker <_< Tony
