So I bought a 425 grade 6 for an absolute steal in 20b . Ideally wanted a 28, and I read somewhere barrels are interchangeable between 20borr and 28 but cant seem to find anything on't web. Anybody know anything more than me? :)

presumably if I did find a set of barrels even if they do interchange, I'd need a forestock too?

thanks

jamie

If they are 20 bore barrels bored out to be 28 would imagine the forend you had would fit but guessing you would need to be fitted by a smith, one other point they will be a lot heavier than the 20 having more metal left on em, my thoughts either get a true 28 or don’t bother, however realise each to there own, if you got it for a good price you might get a decent px price and get the one you really want

Thanks button, sorry only just saw your reply.

Good point re the weight, I hadnt thought of that. I've shot with it now for 3 outings and done really well, so, I think I'll keep as a 20! Using lighter loads and it has a similar effect so all good

Thanks

Jamie
