Still got a couple of ST's in the garage although doubt they have been turned on for 15 years. And as for the baitrunners, they don't make them like that anymore! weebster Posted January 5 Author Report Share Posted January 5 Yes I couldn't agree more, I had the same set up in the late 90's but had the illuminated swingers....this gear was left to me by my Brother who sadly passed away last year, he was into trout/fly fishing but thought he'd have a go at carp....went twice and went back to the fly and the gear has been stored ever since. I did think about taking it back up again but then remembered the amount of bloody gear I used to hump to lakes not to mention being on the mozzies menu for the entire time of my stay....nah, I'll stick with beach fishing now with far less gear to carry and I'm able to eat some of what I catch 😄 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
