THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
Eley Grand Prix SpSG. Any info ? Collectable ? The only info I could find on Google was it contains 9 bb's & use an open choke.
enfieldspares
Still made or of not still until recently made. Little collector interest even if Home Guard issue...I had some 16 bore /I\ marked WWII Home Guard SpSG. The 12 bore WWII Home Guard was larger size? By the time of the Malayan Emergency the British Army were using the more collectable Belgian aluminium sheathed 12 bore AAA cartridge I believe. John Longstaff at Pudsey that morphed into Henry Krank used to sell it in the late 1970s.
THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
Limited use then. Thanks for the info. It's plastic with Eley on the brass so sort of modern. No use to myself so I'll put it in the sales to see if anyone local would like it.
cervusman
If I remember correctly Spl SG has 12 lead balls, it’s the SSG that has 9 balls per load
