gx51
Hi All Good site!! I live in Normandy where rabbits are thin on the ground, which was what I thought would be a sorce of 'free' meat when I first came out here, but I do manage to pot the odd pigeon from time to time! I shoot an AA TDR and find it ideal here, just puping it up every 50 or so shots is a pain, and Im over 1hr away from the nearest dive shop! Air guns seem to be thought of as kids toys here. The hunting season is in full swing at the mo, and anyone who's anyone runs round the countrside with their shotty under their arm! Seeing the state of them, Im suprised there arn't more accidents than there are (and there always are quite a few!) Good to find you Happy shooting Dave
Dunkield
and bienvenue to PW Dave. I have had experience of the French hunters, we were over there when the fishing season ended and the hunting season started. As we didn't realise the seasons changed that day we got picked up by the gendarme and fined 1,100 francs for fishing out of season That unpaid fine is at the back of my mind everytime I go to France now
