Stalking is stalking, that was just shooting............admittedly very good shooting, but I`d have been impressed just as much with a paper target getting hit. Each to their own

Hit the nail on then head there HD. I wonder how many video's were taken before they got one first time? As HD says I'd be more impressed seeing the results on paper, & even more impressed with a 900yd stalk, & then a 100yd shot finish.....!

Couldn't agree more.......I did like the fact that he invented a new word for the past tense of squeeze..."sqoze" made me chuckle.

I was'nt going to comment but being true to myself I would not hesitate if given the chance for some long range shooting at live quarry ..........The thing it's more than just shooting .Development of the bullet load not to mention hours of practice on the range are just some critical factors to consider ........it certainly aint just a case of turning up for those 1000yd shots and pulling the trigger .

The thing is it's American and straight away most are switched off by the John Wayne stereotype out to boost his ego at a live animals expense, you have to try and look beyond that .It's a shame these long range efforts are'nt portrayed in a different manner which most this side of the pond could relate to .

I do agree that the thrill of the chase and getting close is equally as skillful and a more enjoyable experience and by no means am I disagreeing with some of the valid comments mentioned previous about taking large quarry from extreme distance .

At the moment i have moved on to taking head shots at Rabbits with the HMR at distances up to 150yds .Previously I was always aimed for the larger body but after 18 mths and god knows how much ammo I now feel confident aiming at a small kill zone .

The thing is in most cases I could get alot closer but choose not to for some reason now .......Just fascinated by long range shooting I guess ..............Yep done all the paper punching as well and there is only so much of a boat that discipline will float .

???
