islandgun
Right gents, tempted by reasonable prices and the fact that up till now Ive never had a 16 bore, I'm "investing" in a couple of old sxs. Does anyone have a recipe or two( or links ) they would care to share. I have vectan a.s. longshot, bluedot. Lilgun. Cork wads and nitro cards Edited April 20 by islandgun
Down South
I’ve got a couple of loads for long shot & blue dot but they use plastic wads. These 2 powders are usually for 1oz + loads. Bismuth loads I have are 70mm with plas wads. I take it you’ve acquired an English 16 bore.

Hi just seen this, I would be very interested in any loads you might have, including any other powders. Just seen this load. Cheddite case/primer 2.5 [cut down ?] 21g longshot, SG 16 wad, 1oz lead, 7600 psi 1190 fps. Im considering substituting fiber for the plastic, In the process of buying a Westley Richards underlever and Wild. Also wondering about using little skeeters reducer to 20 or 28 bores
