Flying pie in the sky
I have a major problem with wood pigeons in my street. Is it legal to shoot them from my garden when they are on my house.. What are the laws regarding this and the used of Air guns??
Mickey
this is fine as long as the pellet stays within your boundaries, if it strays outside your boundaries you are comitting a serious offence. How sure are you that your pellets will stay within your boundarys? If it is not 100% sure dont take the shot.
Teal
Not when they are "on your house" as you can't guarentee the pellet will not leave the boundaries. On the ground perhaps, but use common sense if its a really built up area then you're just asking for trouble if you start shooting them. If in doubt get the council to sort it out. Hammergun
Basically, you can't shoot them when they are sat on you roof as the pellet could likely keep on travelling. The only way is to shoot them from above from an upstairs window where a pellet can only ever hit the ground within your property.
