Measures 3.25” long, oval in shape with two compartments with lids that have springs. Just found that inside one of the lids it is stamped YKK? The other end has an X. Thanks! That's correct. The first tin of Curtiss and Harvey percussion caps I bought then cost me 2 shillings and sixpence and a tin of FFFg powder was 7 shillings and sixpence. Those were the days Feltwad I’ve just measured how much shot the item holds (used sugar whilst Memsahib was out) 1.5 ozs give or take a grain.
