More than 750 birdboxes were built by the BASC Wales team and Scouts from across Wales at a national camp last week.

The birdboxes will be put up in gardens and community and Scout halls across Wales after they were made at the All-Wales Scout Camp 2024. BASC’ Wales team attended the camp to teach the youngsters about the importance of conservation and biodiversity.

More than 1,400 Scouts from across Wales attended the two-day event, which was held at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells.

After receiving funding from BASC’s Legacy Fund, the BASC Wales team took the opportunity to attend the camp for the first time in an effort to inspire the Scouts to become the next generation of conservationists.
