old'un
couldn't think where to put this so if its in the wrong place it may get moved. Been out looking for a few pigeons locally and not seeing that much, plus I don't do rain any more but I have been watching half a dozen pigeons coming to next-doors large Lilac tree and picking at the dead flower heads, looking through the binoculars I could see they were eating the green seed pods, just goes to show what resourceful birds they are. Kitchrat, got any Lilac trees near you?
martinj
I thought you were referring to the colour of the pigeon because I have shot a couple of albino birds that were a pinky "lilac" colour
