steve_b_wales
Has anyone used the American Eagle .22 rf ammo? I bought 400 months ago, and, as they are supposed to be high velocity, I have just started using them in my Remy 597. In my opinion, they are totally ****! Missfires and jamming. Blowfelt
Strange ive used them a few times, being as my local shop doesnt stock a huge selection of .22lr. ive never had a problem with them, might be a bad batch or gun dont like em. my 10/22 hates anything by remmington 1 in 3 norm jam but it will shoot rws, Federal and cci all day long
BlaserF3
I used to have a 597 and it didn't like them either my problems were just the same as yours. I found that CCI worked best through a Remington. I fitted a hammer and sear from Rimfire magic and that gave me a few light strikes but the trigger pull was a bit better though.
