Conor O'Gorman
There has been a fair amount of doom and gloom about politics and the future of shooting. However, there is cause for optimism thanks to the efforts of BASC’s political team over the past five years, building relationships and preparing for a potential change in government. Post-general election, a litmus test for those efforts was the autumn political party conferences. BASC has been attending these for most of its history and what happened this year was hugely significant. https://www.shootinguk.co.uk/news/a-party-conference-season-like-no-other-149302/
enfieldspares
I do hope so and would it be fantasy to even imagine that one day woodpigeon might again become able to be purely and simply "shot for the pot" and free of the General Licence regulations that now beset it?
