That was a couple of bananas, a very good glug of Navy rum, into the air fryer for 15 minutes.

The rum boils off, the bananas caramelise and when served with cream, créme fraiche or custard is so delicious, it doesn't hang around to be photographed.17341810025777582659388499460739.jpg.18ba2c2a29d919be363c023bbeced6f8.jpg

I do something similar when we have a BBQ in the summer, peeled firm bananas on the BBQ till just charring, mix some maple syrup with a plash of rum, pour this over the cooked banana and serve with some vanilla ice cream, not had one person yet who said they did not like it.
