TPR1966
Hello there, Nice website you have here, been browsing most of the day before signing up this evening I live in Southport, proud owner of a BSA Airsporter which I bought new some 22 year ago now I think it is. I'm tempted to change the spring as it's all still original though I haven't been very active with the rifle for the last few years. Anyway I'm off for a browse, thanks again for having us here

TPR1966
Helloooooooooo Tony Hello Tony, thanks for the welcome, my name is Tim. Been having a butchers round, we sometimes read conflicting things, well I seem to do with this Rifle, some say put a OX spring in and others say no. I have had a Scope fitted for nigh on 18 years now {its a Hunter and I've googled all day today and can't find them anywhere, have they stopped making them} anyway lastnight here in the house I've messed them up. I look after my gear anyway I was dusting the gun down after sanding some paint work down but dust had covered the scope so I took the caps off and cleaned them then I removed the eye piece off the scope gave that a dust and all fine, then I did a stupid thing and just ran the duster inside the scope, and now I have NO cross hair. Well gutted here as these sights have never let me down, so now if I can somehow repair them or look for decent second hand scope for the Rifle, but then further reading through forums many people who own this gun say Don't put a scope on as it ruins the look of the Rifle. I suppose though that's down to the owner if he/she likes a scope or not. Sorry to rabbit on, my other hobby is Sea Fishing

You have some hobbies that match mine by the way. Tony
