SidneyG
Got to try my XTR for the first time today, has felt like the longest week of my life since I bought it till using it today. Its a 30" multi choke trap(31" with chokes). Have fitted Rhino ported MOD and FULL chokes. After playing about with comb positions for a bit, I finaly got it to my liking. Gun feels very well balanced, a bit steadier than my Beretta 687 that I traded in, but for me thats a good thing. Recoil was low with both 24g hull pro one and 28g hull inter-comp. Muzzle lift very low (helped by the ported chokes no doubt). Only had time to try a couple of rounds of DTL, but hopefully I'll get to try it on the OT layout on sunday. Overall very happy so far. The soft cheek piece is really nice, been having a few problems with a badly bruised face with the beretta, this was the main reason for choosing the XTR.
