Hi just letting you know how spencers comming along, he's had experience with Pheasant,Duck, Rabbitt & Partridge, been to several shoots where he just watched and learnt, then on his third shoot sent him for a partridge which he retreived perfectly, even sitting down in front of me, which he almost refuses to do with dummys. thanks for everyones advice on when i go away for 6 months in March, hopefully a friend who picks up and has 4 Labs & a cocker is going to kindly look after him ( and hes local) so the wife & kid can still take him out for days out.

Thanks to Mrs Sweepy & NTTFL for advice

Good news on Spencer, mate. Six month tour? Back in just time to pick up the training, ready for the start of the new season, eh. :stupid:

Hope the next few months of practicing your contact drills, turns out to be un-necessary. Head down and have a boring one...all the best.

ps. give my regards to the Market Traven, Coach & Horses, the Layer Arms & Kirkee Bks.
