Tom Robinson
i have just bought a new hatsan escort 3shot pump action but i am confused about the chokes i new the difference between 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full chokes but these ones have on them: cyl-skeet, imp.cyl, mod, imp.mod, and full can anybody explain them to me also in the box with the chokes is 2 small plastic plates and a small clear plastic thing i believe they are to extend the length of the stock, does anybody know how to do this? or does it require a gunsmith? EvoCars
imp cylinder is 1/4, mod is 1/2, imp mod is 3/4, and full is, well full :yp: , the skeet choke is really open, like 1/8 or something similar, only good for close range, but big spread, the wedges go between the stock and the action, there is 2 screws you get at through small holes in the butt plate , undo them to remove the stock, the small plastic thing is a spare part for your magazine tube, incase the one fitted cracks, which mine never has
tazkb
i got mine today added 1 spacer to the stock and it fits nicely, quite well made gun really considering i only paid £265 new :yp: can't wait to try it out claying tommorow. had to get 28" version as the 26" ones are on hold till next year but i did get the newer model with the trio buttpad nice
throdgrain
Like EVO says really. The ones to be concerned with imo are imp cyl (1/4) and mod (1/4) . Ive shot clays for a few years now with just imp cyl and not had reason to complain. I use mod sometimes when I want to make life a bit harder, and when Im rough shooting.
