for hunting .22,

BUT concidering i've got a .22 now my next gun is going to be a .177 because i prefer the flatter trajectory and because i'll be getting it for targets aswell.

If its just for hunting i'd get .22, although a hard hitting .177 pellet would do the job you'd have to super accurate to ensure a clean kill, where as .22 you have a bigger kill zone. .25 is probably better in FAC (30+ftlbs).

.177 for my next gun.

.22 for huntng.

.20 and .25 im unsure.

Although i would buy a .22 cal rifle i would buy a .20 if i could get hold of the ammo alot easier i used to own a sheridan pro hunter pump up in .20 . i gave my sheridan up because i was having to buy pellets in by the case not by the tin so it was rather costly :)

The .20 flies as flat as the .177 & hits just as hard if not harder than the .22 and i always used to get a better group with the .20 pellets than my m8 who was .22 & also could take longer ranged shots with confidence.

.22 partly because

harder hitting for bigger quarry

.20 arnt really famous yet so theres not much pellets available

cant really see a .177 downing a rabbit unless u nail it in head

but who cares if its flatter trajectory it still hasnt got the hitting power of a .22 so surely you will have to get closer ( where not counting penetration here, i missed that on out  )

me garndad used to say 177 feather 22 fur...

but rabbit skin is hard to penetrate so would a 177 be better....

aghhhhhhhhh im runnin round in circles help me out
