Yup had that prob sorted it a few months back you will find there is a screw connecting the base to the ring the screw is most definitely loose take the scope off and then take the base off the rifle and apply loc-tite to the screw do this to both mounts and the job should be a good 1 :lol:

 

Sako saying its a bad batch is bull there a good mount but should be made out of a single piece of metal rather than base being connected to the rings by a screw.Or you might not have tightened up the base screws enough but i doubt it :lol:

Hi Tikkamark nothing to do with screw connecting the base to the ring . second set of mounts still no good new batch on way from sako back mount has been machined wrong to fit rifle when you slide it on the dovetail right up to the limiter pin slot you can lift the base off.
