Hello there enjoying sifting through your bulletins.

Basically I’m a young lad of 17 (Stephen), extremely interested in game.

I’m from County Durham, trying to establish myself in catering.

Passionate about local produce I naturally want to find out what local game has to offer.

If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone know of any places to start in the North East?

I’m cool with doing all the ****ty jobs for a couple of birds J.

Cheers Steve.

Find some local shoots and get some days beating for them, most are more than happy for another pair of hands. Check out http://www.nobs.org.uk/ (National organisation of beaters and pickers up) They list beating opportunities all over the country.

You'll learn more about shooting and probably get a brace of birds for your trouble.

unfortunatley, by what isee & hear from your neck o'the wood,

all your game & wildlife has been masaquered, by the dog & coursing faternaty,

nothing wrong with coursing in my opinion, i love a good chase.......

but..just your area has had no respect for closed seasons, on game ect & dogs out number the per acre needed !!
