Guest Mr Pieman
Evening I have a number of flappers, but not a Pinewood one. The unit looks as if it would move the wings in a pattern, rather than just up and down as my ones do. Does anyone got a link to some footage that would show the actual movement? Cheers Mr P
Cranfield
I have never seen a video of the action, but I have seen the flapper demonstrated at a Game Fair. The wings do not open and shut, or go up and down, like most flappers, but appear to go round and round as a pigeons wings would as it is braking to come in to land, or accelerating on take off. On rereading that, my explanation may not be very clear, perhaps you had better try to find a video.
