magdie Posted January 31, 2008 Report Share Posted January 31, 2008 This week-end I have the chance to buy a near mint condition HW100T It as all the bits that go with it 2 spare mags Logun silencer,Hawke map scopes 3x9x50.Could you give me an opinion on this gun and set up,only being back in the sport for a short while after a very long absense,I have not kept up with the modern guns out there. My only query would be the silencer as I was under the impression they came with a weihrauch silencer as standard? The gun I fired at the club was the quietest airgun i've tried to date but I cant say that would be the case without that silencer. Perhaps the seller thought the Logan gave better results? I heard the first HW100`s had a fixed moderator which wasn`t up to much! TIMMYFISHFINGER Posted February 2, 2008 Report Share Posted February 2, 2008 i had MK1 HW100 and had the barrel screw cut and the new silencer fitted. Well quiet afterwards! Now i've just part ex'd it for a new hw100ks and it's flippin marvellous!!! I'm staying with weirauch as the quality, accuracy and the foolproof loading (can't double load- not as uncommon as you think, just ask the gun shops) these guns cant be beaten. The new version in carbine is the icing on the cake for me, lighter weight, easier handling and new stock, just wish it had the same shot count as the original 120+, thats the trouble with a 14 shot mag, it empties real quick as the guns so easy to cock and fire.
