Edward
I was considering buying a lamp to go on the barrel of my Gp gun, as i mainly shoot on my own and from a quad I thought it would be usefull to see more of where I shoot. has any one tried this??? I was looking at a deben tracer atom tactical 100m, or a tracer stinger with a 70m beam which is best for use with the shotgun?? Thanks

Edward
Thanks does it affect the balance much???
Baldrick
I use the same set-up on my 12b as Casper does. It's a brilliant lamp (pun intended), and doesn't really alter the balance on a shotgun too much.
Edward
What kind of distance is the beam??? I only need a fairly short distance (100m) how much is that kind of lamp??? Thanks
Baldrick
I coughed up about £130 for the scope/barrel-mounted Lightforce 170 lamp and a hefty battery (and case) from Sportsman. It wasn't cheap, but with the lamp properly adjusted, I can see to well over 400 yards. It literally turns night into day. For use up to 100 yards, you may be better off with a (much cheaper) Logun or Deben lamp.
