I am a big landie fan,

But I recon that all 4x4s have the ability to perform in tough conditions, so long as the tyres are suitable and ground clearance is sufficient.

It is just a matter of turning all four wheels at the same time for the best traction.

Landrover Toyota Nissan Jeep etc... they all work

I wouldnt mind a LR101 though :)

Who wins 4X4 and off road magazine hard core off roder of the year for as long as I can remember, The defender Why simply the best, I no that the MOD are thinking of changing to Merc G wagon which I have driven and is There on Par and carries more weight 2 tons but we can get the Landie here and cheap. Did you know bit of usless info but 75% of all Landies built are still on the road and no I'm not making that up.

Toyotas are good very good and no doubt they suit most people and prob's but

u can't beat a landie no mater what and there British.

Big Bill

"Cranfeild ! I was a driving instructor for armed forces, served for 15 years plenty of experiance thanks."

Don't thank me Bill, I'm sure you enjoyed every minute of it. :)

Re read my post, I was commenting about the ability of 4x4 driving members of my Syndicate.

I think White Fox has it quite right.

They all do a job and as long as we are happy with what we have, thats fine. :)
