Mungler
I have a load of domain names bagged up - long story but I flogged a few back in the day and made some good wedge before the rules changed for what constitutes an abusive / bad faith registration. Anyways, someone has sent me an enquiry to purchase one. He sent it to my hotmail account (which is down as the admin contact for the domain). I need to pull the "View full details / source of message" to grab an IP address to see if he sent it from a work network / domain - from Outlook it's easy but I have never done it from Hotmail. He's making out that the domain is for a friend etc but I reckon there's a company behind it which means the price is likely to go up. Ta very. Big_Sam
Have you google the address to see what shows up?
russuk
On the old Hotmail you could just select 'View full headers' in the options. Not in the new one. There is a work-around here... http://ask-leo.com/how_do_i_view_full_head...ve_hotmail.html
AdamC
Not a hotmail user, but are you able to send the mail from hotmail to one of your email addresses that can be viewed in Outlook? As an attachment rather than a forwarded mail, the headers in the original message will be maintained.
dazzyboi
I was thinking of doing this a few years back, iv known a couple of casis of people making quite abit of money, but im sure there is some legal thing now where you can't just buy domains that are not being used. You have to have a site link-up. ? then again you could just mock up a really simple website and leave it be until someone contacts you with buckets of money.
