palombier
Myself and a friend shot 275 pigeons yesterday over rape stubble from a shared hide. The field had been cut the evening before and when we arrived at 6am there were about 6-800 pigeons already feeding on it. We ran out of cartridges at 3pm and packed up just before a heavy thunderstorm. In the afternoon there were hundreds of birds on the move,I think they were moving to escape the storm which was quite severe. Most of them were not particularly interested in the field or the deeks come to that but we pulled enough for a spectacular day. Definitely a red letter day for the game book.
