FAC Upgrade advice?

Hey,

Ive decided to try out a PCP rifle instead of sticking to the old springers! Ive been searching around and came across the Logun Axsor which seems to be a really nice rifle. But my question is if I was to get a PCP rifle such as the Logun Axsor (12ft/lb version), can this rifle easily be upgraded to FAC? Its just that I have not started the FAC application as of yet and I realise how long it could take to be certified for a FAC rifle. IF so how much round about would it cost? OR is it best waiting and getting my FAC then buying an fac rifle?

thanks for the help

Stuart

basically any pcp CAN be converted to FAC levels by a gunsmith but not all will be good at that power. The axsor should be ok as it stems from the same blood line as the fx2000 ect. If you dont have your fac yet though i'd suggest waiting until you get it then find an FAC airgun to buy as these tend to go MUCH cheaper than their 12ft/lb versions. For example you can often find an fac rapid for about 300 quid wheras the 12ft/lb version would be nearer 500.

if i was you mate i wont bothere id stick with a 12ft lb air rifle and get a .22 rim fire.

you then have all circumstances covered

I`ve applied for fac russ and from advice given, I`ve gone for .17 hmr. It seems the police are more affable to this gauge rather than .22 What you reckon?
