jon0881
Hi, At the moment ive got two lovely staffies, one about 6 and the other is a daughter who is 2. I think i could train the young one to flush out game but i darnt take her on a game day for fear of extreme ridicule. When one pops its clogs ive been given the go ahead to get a gun dog as long as its a short haired lab (wife doesnt like malting). Has anyone seen some short hair labs that were trained up? cheers /Jon
WGD
All labs molt mate, I've had yellows and now have a choc. In-laws have blacks - hair 'king everywhere. What kind of shooting do you do? WGD
new to the flock
Are you confusing Golden Retrievers....long hair......with Labrador Retrievers....short hair? NTTF
jon0881
At the moment my shooting is wilfowling, game and pigeon. My staffies obviously malt but its much easier to clean up after short hair.
pigeon master
If you get a Lab mate your good lady will kick you out on the street. I brush my Lab cross in the garden and you would think I'd sheered a sheep....and you could do it every day for a year and still have it drop hairs everywhere. The bluetits love it though for thier nests.

My two staffies are like a wirlwind, teamed up with my 18m old tear away the house stays clean for the blink of an eye.
russuk
Why not tell her what you want, and then get it. Down with feminism.
