Hi,

At the moment ive got two lovely staffies, one about 6 and the other is a daughter who is 2. I think i could train the young one to flush out game but i darnt take her on a game day for fear of extreme ridicule.

When one pops its clogs ive been given the go ahead to get a gun dog as long as its a short haired lab (wife doesnt like malting). Has anyone seen some short hair labs that were trained up?

cheers

/Jon

If you get a Lab mate your good lady will kick you out on the street.

I brush my Lab cross in the garden and you would think I'd sheered a sheep....and you could do it every day for a year and still have it drop hairs everywhere.

The bluetits love it though for thier nests.

:good: Had a lab when I was growing up and the hair was everywhere when she moulted.

Thats a shame. She wants a boston terrier next.....thats no use to me!

Trust me, im fine with dogs and their mess. My two staffies are like a wirlwind, teamed up with my 18m old tear away the house stays clean for the blink of an eye.
