clayman
Just a note on chokes, The amount of choking is what the gun throws on a plate - not what it reads by measuring the end of the barrels. The way the gun is bored internally, before the choked area, will effect the result - so unless you have taken two measurements and calculated the differential, just the end measure does not mean a lot. If you put the shot load onto a plate you may well find it does what it says on the tin, as they say, and that the manufacturers choke designation's are correct on a pattern plate even if the measures at the end would indicate differently. Wall thickness, forcing cone design, length and type of chokes, and cartridge choice all effect the pattern end result. Clayman
al4x
so screw in multichokes that restrict the end of the barrel are basically useless. I'll take your word for it. But with this gun it is possible its had the chokes bored out as quite a few that were full choke seemed to.
