Th0r
Went to Wilkinsons today and bought 4 Clothes line props. I have previously purchased Wilkinson Clothes Line 'props' for other [similar] purposes and they weren't very good. I made my own hide poles from a fairly long stick. Granted, it took me ages to complete but it was well worth it... Hopefully you might have better luck with your props...
jonno 357
Made a set of these from wilko props a few years ago You need to cut them down a couple of feet they are far too long for what you need and use the inner section for ground spikes. I very rarely use these now as I have a set of proper alloy hide poles. Which IMO are far better and a dam sight lighter to carry then the wilko ones But if you are starting out and cannot afford the good stuff then use the wilkco ones. I got mine form turban wearing gentleman on a market stall at £1.99 each I think Jonno
