glamour
Hello, well i've just been to get myself a scorpian T10 which is ******* me off already.. I know it'll be my fault but i'm new to all this pcp stuff. I tried to fill the gun with my bottle, the bloke in the shop put the little grub screw type thing in the charging adaptor for me so that's right. He explained about the valves on the bottle which i thing i've got right. I plugged the black adaptor into my gun and turned on the air and it just seems to be blasting out the little hole on top of the resevoir haha. Am i doing something wrong?? What the hell is that hole for?? I've got to get my scope on now and try and zero that! Blind leading the blind springs to mind. Cheers lads chris (bit of a ***)
monkeyjaimz
Sounds like the bleed valve on your filling gauge/hose is open mate. I might be wrong but that's what id check 1st.
glamour
I think thats alright, its hard to explain.. someone that has one should know exactly what i mean, i'm not sure what its like on other guns so i dunno. The hole you push the adaptor with the o-rings in has a tiny hole the other side. so in theory you can look into the filling hole and see your barrel the other side. I'll have to wait till someone with one replies.. i'm sure i've seen people on here with them so hopefully they can help me. I'd ring the shop but i already rang once moaning about the magazine when it was my fault i couldnt get it out haha. It must be ok as they'd filled it once before in the shop. chris
oneshotkiller
see if the o ring on the fill adaptor is torn or is missing rubber if so put a new one on with a bit of grease there ntorious for wearing quick on bsa
glamour
They look fine, the packet was only opened a few hours ago by me. It's that hole, i just don't see why its there. All the air is being let out of it, the hose end it fine. Very strange.
monkeyjaimz
Another thought mate, have you tried filling the rifle with the bolt pulled back open?
glamour
yeh i did mate. it's doing my head in... i don't want to keep trying as its emptying my bottle haha.
oneshotkiller
that holes supposed to be lined up with the hole on the fill adaptor i thinkalso make sure you have pushed it totally inside untill it feels tight
glamour
the hole on the fill adaptor is on the side, inbetween the o-rings. if the adaptor had a hole on its end it would go straight out through the hole on the resevoir. if that makes sense. i just dont see what that hole is for. oneshotkiller
best thing is too take it back to the shop and get them to check it over for your peace of mind and also too show you if you are doing anything wrong
glamour
I don't wanna go back really, i made myself look a right *** by ringing up cos i couldnt get the magazine out. And its a good 30 miles away (i travelled for the best price). heres a diagram, i'm sure someone elses bsa must be the same???
oneshotkiller
fraid i cant help you then mate be aware yhough if you fiddle with it and muck it up it could turn into a very exspensive mistake so bite your pride and visit the shop fella they really have heard all these querys before
glamour
i thought he seemed ok on the phone, and the price was good... but when i got there he was a cock. i don't know if it's something i could sort at another gun shop or not. i hope its not the valve on the gun. what would happen if it is? but its been filled up before in the shop so surely it should be ok? why do all these gun smiths sound like idiots?? like theyre just out to rip people off. please come forward all t10 users! i messaged someone on youtube with one and he said his it virtually silent while filling so now i'm worried. this **** shop is a good 30 miles away so i dont fancy driving back to be made a fool of if its something im doing wrong. skb 557
well if it was filled in the shop and im guessin you got it today?? and you said you still have to get the scope on and zero it than how can it be empty?? i know the T10 isnt regulated but i reckon you should get close to 80-100 shots so were did the air go that the bloke who sold you it put in?? and if he put air in it and it was fine then what could of gone wrong since??? did you get any instructions??? if not you can download them of the net ive got an S10 and ive had a few bsa pcp's and they can be a bit odd and not as straight forward as say a logun or airarms but look at the book that came with it im really wondering were the air that the shop guy put in has gone to??? so is the scope on yet??? just tap in to google filling a bsa scopean T10 [sorry about my spelling]
skb 557
hang on if you bought it from shop A why would you want to take it to shop B if you think its faulty??? if youve done what the sales fella said just ask him again it dont matter what he thinks you paid good money ansd if you havnt messed about with it theres nothing to worry about? glamour
well he fired about 10 shots in the shop to test it on the chrono, i've fired loads so i dont know. the problem is the shops miles away, i can drive it again but its gay cos its virtually all roads with the average speed camera things... does my head in. i dont see what can be wrong if he filled it. i might just shoot it till its totally empty then see if a local shop will let me pay for a single fill or something. if it happens there with a man who knows what hes doing i know i'll have a problem and drive over. i just cant be ***** with driving back and forwards with this gun on a 60-70 miles round trip each time. i'll have to take the scope off cos i dont want that bein knocked and stuff while theyre messing about with it. glamour
I said it'd be something really simple that i didn't have a clue about!! the problem was that the charging adaptor needed to be tightened well to the adaptor on the bottle! like spanner tight! i didn't know that! hahahaha. out of the 15 or so people i messaged noone suggested that either! i took it to vinnys house, within a a minute of looking he knew what the problem was.... that! glad i didnt drive all the way to that shop with it now! cheers for the help anyway lads, feel free to insert abuse here:....................................................................
