For sale is a case I took in as a mahogany shotgun case. Actual material unknown, I think by the looks of it it's mahogany Ply. Have a look though it is lovely.

Condition is good, it has a couple of scuffs on the exterior which are to be expected, I may get round to polishing these out, however it's always going to pick them up being wood.

What really sets it apart is the build quality, this isn't a nasty homemade orange box case, it also isn't a clapped out old case as on ebay, it is a custom made, high quality, heavy, red baize lined, lockable case with brass corners.

The case was reputedly made by a cabinet maker from H+H, I tend to believe that as it came with H+H turn screws in a little case, and the quality is excellent.

A bit about the case:

31.5" x 11.75" x 3.5".

Brass corners, leather handle, Brass Legge 2 lever locks with 2 keys, Red baize lined, comes with inserts for different length barrels, comes with insert for SS barrels (moulded for a H+H set but will fit most SS including AYA) also has an insert to fit buttpad of stock in to so stock doesn't come in to contact with baize, has plenty of cubby holes for cleaning kit etc, restraint strap is boxed in to prevent damage to guns, brass surrounds for the keyholes, the case is clearly made by a master cabinet maker who is experienced with guns.

As you can see it fits my Browning OU perfectly and this is with the SS insert in place, with it removed the space for barrels is cavernous, little touches like the corner pieces being pinned from the sides so it doesn't scratch a table when resting on the wood, to the soft pads to hold the gun in place with the lid closed, I'm not desperate to sell this but don't really have a gun to do it justice, or an excuse to buy said gun!

Any questions just ask, if you want a nice solid case why not buy this instead of that aluminium one!

I shouldn't have to explain but the case comes as a case only, it comes with both keys and the inserts obviously, but no gun, cleaning kit, turnscrews. The pic of the turnscrews is included purely as interest.

I'm looking for £100 which is a bargain when you consider how much it would cost to get something like this made!
