Wookie
Ah yes, a lovely place to spend some serious money. I was there the other week and had a really good chat with the gun room manager. All very nice staff and soooo much eye-candy I was glad I left the license at home!
gixer1
totally agree wookie, i looked at a 5 cartridge, cartridge belt in purdys.......£600!!! i nearly fell over.... Also agree on the nice guys in purdeys as i was lookin through the glass at a purdey and the guy came over and said "would you like me to get that gun out sir" i said "oh, i couldn't buy one" and he said "i'll let you have a look over it anyway" to he took the gun out and passed it to me and i had a look at the price tag......£172,000.......this time i made sure i wasn't going to fall over! Wookie
Heh! I saw a lovely little O/U rifle in the Berretta shop. A snip at about 60k. My next thought was "Ok, I just need to save up for a couple of years and then I'll be able to get that little beauty on ticket for those trips to Africa." A couple of years in this case is probably a lifetime... Stunning quality though, just superb

garyb
The Beretta gallery, although nice to look round & admire, I wouldn't buy anything from the place.. The local gunshop was £400 cheaper on my 682 ! And as I wasn't buying a matched pair the salesman couldn't give me the time of day. Oh well
