totally agree wookie, i looked at a 5 cartridge, cartridge belt in purdys.......£600!!! i nearly fell over.... :rolleyes:

 

Also agree on the nice guys in purdeys as i was lookin through the glass at a purdey and the guy came over and said "would you like me to get that gun out sir" i said "oh, i couldn't buy one" and he said "i'll let you have a look over it anyway" to he took the gun out and passed it to me and i had a look at the price tag......£172,000.......this time i made sure i wasn't going to fall over!

Heh! I saw a lovely little O/U rifle in the Berretta shop. A snip at about 60k. My next thought was "Ok, I just need to save up for a couple of years and then I'll be able to get that little beauty on ticket for those trips to Africa."

 

A couple of years in this case is probably a lifetime... Stunning quality though, just superb

The Beretta gallery, although nice to look round & admire, I wouldn't buy anything from the place..

 

The local gunshop was £400 cheaper on my 682 !

 

And as I wasn't buying a matched pair the salesman couldn't give me the time of day.

 

Oh well :rolleyes:
