henry d
Were there any beans on the surface ?? If it is well sown you won`t get many there and once germinated the next time is when harvested. Just get out there and do your best, try looking at the tips >>Here<<
MK38
As Henry says, most fields these days are well sown with very little waste showing on the surface.... unless one of the drills is blocked or damaged... unlikely ! Just a bit of attention from other Pigeons or crows etc. may let you have a day or two over the decoys and you may get a few , but it is a long shot. They may decoy on chick weed or simmilar that grows in the field, you will need to find flight lines or sitty trees that will bring them near. This weekend i've seen them feeding on virtually every food stuff going... clover ,chick weed , rape and tree buds Even if there is nothing in the fields that attracts them, you may still be able to draw a few into your area or even your decoys, often a few hard won birds will be the most you can hope for.... but it still beats being stuck indoors. Use your time watching Pigeons or learning to make your hide better .... try to learn something every trip, it will pay off eventually Dave
