suzy, the fox enchanter

[Mrs Sweepy]

The last couple of walks sammy and i have done .

we have always caught sight of this fox .in the distance .

but no sooner you see it then its gone.

well not today.

as it was a lovely afternoon .

sammy and myself decided to go for a early walk .

around the fields at the back of are house.

were sweepy has permission to shoot (but not foxs)

now on part of this walk there is a blind corner .

which then takes you into the other field .

now as we were just strolling i let sammy be just that bit more ahead of me .

then i would have done if i was working him.

so he was just disapearing round this corner .when all of a sudden he stop .

and took on pointer mode(i know one day i will tell him his a clumber and not a pointer ).

i just thought sammy got his eye on a bunnie.

but as i can round the corner there in front of us was mr fox .

just standing there .

he was a lovely looking dog fox long legged slender and with a lovely coat on him to .

well he took one look at sammy .then myself .

and turned tail and started to make his escape.

from me the mad women in green wellies and the strange looking spaniel.

well no one animal or foe turn their back on suzy.

so i did what a girl had to do in these circumstances.

i put my hands to my lips and i spueak him.

now i have never done this before .

but i have seen sweepy do many a time.

so there was me in the middle of nowhere.

making this strange noise.

that sounded like a deranged banshee.

then it happen it stop ***** its ears up and turned.

and started heading back towards as .

well by this time i was sucking so hardto make a noise the roof of my mouth was starting to hurt.

i could not beleve .that i was actually calling this fox in .

and i must admitt for a spilt sec .

it did cross my mind what would i do if it kept coming to me

but no sooner had it. then mr fox had stop in his tracks .

turned and disapeared into the hedgerow.

well me and sammy were so excited about are little run in with mr fox .

we just couldnt get home fast enough to tell someone .

just cant wait till tomorrow now .

to see if i have the other date with mr fox .

and this time i shell be armed with something to shoot him with .

So Sammy didn't get him then?

 

I squeaked one in to 20m away the other night. It came in like a steam train. However as it was making it's final approach my Dad called me to ask where the ruddy hell I had got to as it was nearly dark. Needless to say the fact that my ringtone is a very loud hunting horn playing 'gone away' frightened Charlie somewhat. Actually, frightened is an understatement, the bloomin' thing lept 4ft up in the air like I had just stamped on his tail and ran off into the hedgerow.

My dog came nose to nose with a badger one day on a disused railway track, nearly **** myself, luckily he turned tail and legged it so did I. All I needed as a brock latching onto the dog.

Suzy, are your sure you will go out again to call in that fox? I guess it may be a waste of time! He has probably popped it with a heart attack after running into a deranged banshee dressed in green wellies?

 

Hope he didn't suffer too long
